Estimates from 67 Pennsylvania counties favor Mathues for state treasurer with 217 784 votes while Sneyder wins auditor general and Morrison Henderson lead for Superior Court judges. New York City votes elect George B McClellan Jr mayor by about 70 000 over Seth Low with Grout as comptroller and Fornes as board president.

Jackson Mississippi November 3 The statewide vote was light with the Democratic ticket led by J K Fardaman elected for governor without opposition and no rival ticket to contest.

Primary department shows 38 enrolled with 32 average belonging and 30 average daily attendance with 2 or 3 tardies and 34 days absent. names of featured pupils are listed.
Report for month ending October 30 shows 31 enrolled students with 97 percent average attendance. Tardiness minimal, noting no band visits or other disruptions.
