Negotiations are under way with Standard Oil Company to lease about 4 500 acres near Priest Butte, three miles south of the city. The land is owned by P H Crossen H J Loomis S Maccany Mr Brewer Dr C J B Stephens and J H Stephens. Crossen has returned from Great Falls and expects to close the deal after papers are signed.

Teton County Ministerial Association Meets in Choteau
The Teton County Ministerial Association held a meeting at the Methodist parsonage in Choteau on a Tuesday afternoon. Present were Rev. H. E. Bush and family of Choteau, Rev. J. N. VanCleve and family of Fairfield, Rev. and Mrs. H. B. Stong of Chateau County, County Agent Clarkson and wife, Prof. J. D. Ray, with Rev. Father Maroney absent due to a Helena call. The group finalized plans for a county religious survey and shared a dinner at 7 p.m.

Ed Hart owner of the Gold Leaf and Lewis Thompson owner of the Bowling Inn were arrested by Deputy State Prohibition Officer Van Wert and deputies for selling intoxicating liquor.
