Sunnyside Hotel Fire At Alhambra Kills Miner
Sunnyside hotel at Alhambra burned down early Sunday. Dan Driscoll, a miner, was found dead among charred remains near an east wall. coroner called later. D. I. Ames, the proprietor, estimated losses at about 65 000 with some insurance. Guests escaped uninjured as the fire started about 1 a m. and the building collapsed after flames consumed the two story frame structure with concert hall.
