The operetta In India was staged in the high school auditorium last Saturday and proved a big success. The basketball team left Chateau at 8 45 am Wednesday with players Arthur Wiprud Frank Wiprud Fred Anderson Edward Dow George Jackson Clarence McDonald. The domestic science class served supper for the Masonic dance Tuesday night. Sophomore English completed A Tale of Two Cities. The Masons held their annual ball at the high school auditorium Tuesday evening. Poor weather kept rural residents away but about 75 townspeople attended late into the night.

Mrs Vandework's room hosted a February party Friday with parents and children attending. Ice cream and cake were served by the girls. The program included a spelling and arithmetic contest between children and parents. The fifth grade welcomed back their teacher with a peanut shower. Washington's Birthday activities were planned. An afternoon Helen Keller life picture show preceded high school singing and a talk on Washington by Professor Ray. The eighth grade issued Improvement and Final Certificates to several students. Commissioner W D Jones of Bynum visited Choteau earlier in the week.

Contracts aim to plant 1000 acres this season with an estimated yield of 125 sacks per acre and a value around 125000 dollars.
