Wool prices set at 40 cents in 1917 clips
Three Teton county dockmasters sold their 1917 wool clips for 40 cents a pound. Cole Brothers and S. S. McDonald of Chateau and Coffey and Wellenstein arranged deals to Boston houses Eisman Brothers and Joseph Kurquahar. Cole’s total wool was about 16,000 pounds while McDonald and Coffey & Wellenstein approached 30,000 pounds. Highest reported price for the region in 1917.

In a one sided game at the high school auditorium Monday evening Cut Bank were defeated 48 to 14 by County high. Jimmy Allison, formerly of County high, played for Cut Bank. After the game the visitors enjoyed a dance hosted by the freshman class.
