Entertainer Ruth McMahan daughter of Rev and Mrs Mc Mahan hosted a party last Monday for about twenty five playmates to celebrate her second birthday in a cheerful family gathering.
Under sheriff E. H. Ganong returned Wednesday evening from Warm Springs asylum with W. W. Adams, who was committed to the institution on the previous Friday. Adams was delivered to the proper authorities for confinement.
Mrs C E Heighton who earlier broke her arm went to Great Falls where doctors reportedly broke it again to set it correctly. Latest word says she is progressing as well as could be expected.

Names George Richards and a party of Mrs C H Jefferson Mrs Chas Carson and Mrs Della Worrall of Kansas City staying with Ranger Jefferson at Willow Creek. G S Jameson deputy county clerk was in Great Falls on clerk's office business then returned to Choteau.

Mrs. T A Smith, visiting her old home at Pem Brook Ontario for several weeks, returned to her city last Tuesday evening. She enjoyed the visit with home folks but was glad to be back in Choteau.
Frank Wheir of the Mercantile Co. has given cigars to the men as a baby daughter arrives. Mother and baby are reported doing nicely with Mrs Wheir recovering at a Great Falls hospital.
Jim Howard, arrested last week at Dupuyer on horse stealing charges, appeared before Justice DeHass. An investigation found he was not guilty and his claim of borrowing a horse from the Burton rancher was fully proven correct. He was on his way back with the horse when arrested.
Barbara Heeb of Bozeman and August Peterson of Choteau married August 19 at the bride’s home in Bozeman. Rev. A L Chapman officiated. immediate family attended. couple to reside in Chateau after a brief trip to Butte. Barbara taught in Three Forks and hails from Gallatin County.
