Death of Butte Priest Mons Peter de Siere
Mons Peter de Siere a prominent Butte priest and long time Montana resident died at 75 after years of illness. He was born in Belgium and ordained in 1867. He served in Dixmude Helena taught 12 years before moving to Deer Lodge and Anaconda then 26 years as pastor of St Patrick's, Butte. Pope Pius named him Monsignor in 1911. Funeral likely Friday in Butte.
