On Friday the class hosted the board and wives but bad roads kept some away. Track coach Clarkson begins training as students hope for a strong state meet. A State Board of Health member gave a lecture on Keeping Fit to aid track. No school today due to election day. Seniors have four more days of classes before final examinations next Friday.

Word from Choteau says Vivian Connor of Choteau employed by Suhr Fruit Co. in Great Falls faced a group of six striking workers on Monday. The six strikers were treated by the police surgeon. Vivian, though opposed, returned home and reported to work the next day.

Commercial club meeting backs camping grounds work in Choteau
At a regular meeting last Monday the commercial club decided to immediately improve the camping site adjoining Choteau. The group discussed Choteau’s $75 highway improvement assessment for the Blackfeet reservation and steps to access it on call. They also pushed for a daily passenger train and better mail service, and urged reduced hay and farm produce rates using all available means.
