Interstate 94 Opens Eight Mile Section at Miles City

A western dedication marks the opening of eight miles of U S Interstate 94 near Miles City. The modern concrete dual lane was built by Peter Kiewit Sons. A 1913 Buick led officials over the new road as the Custer County High School band played at a ceremony.

Lindells Return Home After Wisconsin Visit

Mr and Mrs Elis Lindell left Wednesday for Trade Lake Wisconsin after a brief visit with their niece and husband Mr and Mrs Fred Swenson. The Lindells had previously visited here and then went on to Tacoma to see her sister. Mrs Irene McManus and Mrs Nettie Billings visited Mrs Lloyd Carlbom at Conrad on Monday.
