Hearing dissolves restraining order on school board case
An order dissolving and setting aside last week’s restraining order against the county high school board and R F Williamson followed a district court hearing on Monday. The judge cited that Teton county is not the real party in interest and that the boards had acted toward consolidation via informal understandings. Evidence showed February meetings aimed at keeping both schools on the same basis, with plans to appoint a nominal superintendent or open the position at a low salary, and contracts with Prof Ray and Prof Williamson were debated as to legality under the consolidation law.
