Postponement of Chateau Radio Program Date
Herbert M. Peet reports Chateau community night on the Great Falls Tribune is postponed due to a missing part for the station in New York. A new date likely within two weeks, possibly October 12, will be announced next week. Participants depart Choteau at five, reach Great Falls by 7 30, program to start at eight and last about an hour.

Teton County Red Cross Drives Japanese Relief Quota
The Teton county chapter raised its $75.00 Japanese relief quota within thirty minutes after the Red Cross request. A draft on Washington was mailed, with J. C. Morgan noting the action as possibly unmatched in the state. Generous aid continued arriving to fund food, medicine, and clothing for earthquake victims. Salvation Army gifts were also sent to state headquarters in Butte.

High school seniors held their first dance Friday in the gym. A class addition included Bud McNeal Gideon Udine Russell Oliver and Grace Talifson. The annual picnic drew 30 of 31 seniors with Maggie Jackson late. A hiking misadventure, a rattlesnake kill, and a wiener roast capped the day with Professor’s speech and cheers for the eats.
