Roundup Day kicks off Chateau Girl Scouts Fall program
Saturday afternoon marks the big kickoff for the Chateau Girl Scouts with Roundup Day at 12:30 from the old grade school. Girls will bring lunch and a cup, receive parental permission, then move to Freeman's Camp for the program. Leaders train this week at the Methodist church basement with instructors Standish Robinson Woods and Schiller.

Choteau Legion Juniors Visited Billings for Little World Series
Fourteen Choteau American Legion Junior players and coach attended the Little World Series in Billings. Portland beat Greer 10 6 and Cincinnati topped Portland 10 6 to win the championship. The group toured Billings, met notable baseball figures, and enjoyed a steak dinner after the game.

Council OKs City Laborers On Rink Court
City Council authorizes city workers to assist in building the new rink by removing the old asphalt court and replacing it with a cement surface that can be flooded to form an ice rink in cold weather.
