New lighting quadruples visibility to two blocks and transfers ownership to Montana Power Co, which covered all costs.

Draft registrations rise in Teton county as ages line up

Andrew J. Ringen Rites Observed At Dutton Church
Funeral services for Andrew J. Ringen 69 of Dutton were held at the Dutton Lutheran church with Rev. A. B. Gravdal officiating. Entombment followed in the Great Falls Mausoleum. Ringen, born January 20 1879 in Toten Norway, came to America in 1910 and built a life in Dutton working for his brother Louis then owning the store from 1931 to 1945. He married Karen Strandbakke in 1925 in Brooklyn NY and is survived by his wife and two brothers Louis of Dutton and Helmer of Kolby Norway. He was longtime treasurer of the Dutton Lutheran congregation.

Four Men Charged After Dutton Tavern Fracas
Four Great Falls men faced charges of assault resisting arrest and interfering with an officer after a tavern fight in Dutton. Bernard Sweeny Dick Franklin Jack Smart and Joe Maurantonio of Snyder Trucking were jailed on 200 bail each following Deputy Dick Beyl’s attempt to quell the disturbance.
