James Van Cleave County Clerk of Teton County Montana gives notice that the applicant will seek a tax deed on November 8 1944 for the south half of the northwest quarter and north half of the southwest quarter of section 12 township 26 north range 5 west. The property sold for delinquent taxes January 31 1930 for 738.60 and August 8 1931 for 2438.34. Amount due at deed date 1531.74. Redeem before November 8 1944 to avoid further charges.
Governor Sam C. Ford proclaims petitions filed for the initiative measure Forty Eight to submit to Montana voters at the November election. The proclamation notes constitutional compliance and directs submission for approval or rejection on election day.
A 1940 Montana law defines osteopathy and authorizes regulation of osteopathic physicians surgeons and penalizes violations. It repeals conflicting sections of the Revised Codes and is witnessed, sealed, and signed in Helena on July 8, 1940 by Governor Sam C. Ford with Secretary of State Sam W. Mitchell.
