Work on the Bynum Irrigation District is at a standstill due to a freeze and snowstorm. C. C. Carey, engineer in charge for Winston Bros. Co., said progress will be impossible while the weather lasts. Dam construction had been advancing and could be finished this winter if conditions improve. Several cars of material are en route and Carey will stay until winter material is disposed of, with possible restart next spring for unaffected parts.
The Milwaukee Better Farming program invites farmers to a November 7 gathering at Chateau with Prof Clyde McKee Montana State College and John G Haney of International Harvester Co. Topics include crop rotation diversification and farm practices. pamphlets will be distributed. Afternoon session starts 2 30 at the Royal Theatre and evening session at eight at the courthouse.
Rudolph Valentino stars in A Sainted Devil a Rex Beach story adapted to film by Forrest Halsey at the Royal Theatre next Monday for a two day run. Nita Naldi Helen D Algy and a strong supporting cast appear in a South American love drama with one eight o clock show. Adults 35c high school 25c children 10c.
