Registration Surge Delivers 2 773 Voters in Teton County

County Superintendent Nellie R. Brown created Duncan District 37 from Chateau District 1 and Selie View District 16 and Jacobson District 39 from Cut Bank District 15 and Meadow Brook District 25. Teton County now has 39 districts and 105 teachers.

State Medical Exam Pass Rate and Notable Montana Events

Twenty four of twenty eight applicants passed the state medical exam in Helena. Montana observes prevention day as the anniversary of the Chicago fire. Rancher James W. Brigg shot and killed his wife after she fired three times. The wife had previously killed a husband and served time in state prison. J R McKay, farmer in Custer county and Bull Moose advocate, resigned from the county central committee. State fair attendance was dampened by weather but total for the week was only 500 below last year.

Fine Buck Lambs For Cowell And Bower Ranches

A. J. Cowell and G. Calvin Bower received 125 spring lamb buck lambs of the Shropshire breed from a Bozeman breeder. The lambs averaged 105 pounds and many carry registry tags. Judges deem the stock among the best in the region and all are eligible for registry.

Public Sale of County Fair Buildings at Chateau

The board of county commissioners of Teton County Montana will sell at the courthouse front door in Chateau between 7 AM and 3 PM Saturday October 12 1912 to the highest cash bidder the fair buildings on land adjoining Chateau east of Grove street by Spring Creek. The sale includes the main exhibition hall stock shed outhouses and all lumber and material on the tract and purchasers must remove them immediately after sale.
