Wallace Frost Steps in as Coach During Dietrich Absence

Thanksgiving will close school Thursday and Friday. Miss Putman lectured girls on hair dressing after school Monday. Girls locker rooms are finished and a girls basketball turnout is expected soon. Dietrich and family left for Helena and then Butte for the State Teachers' association. Absences no excuses were issued for Monday to Wednesday. Former students Albert Crittenden and Donald Jackson visited last week. John Weaver and Shirley Wallace are progressing. Shirley plans to return soon. Sophomore English debated keeping the public library open Sundays with a strong affirmative vote.

Thanksgiving Day Services at Episcopal Church

Thanksgiving day services held at 10 45 o clock with prayers and scripture lessons. Choir to sing hymns and a short address. Service under an hour. Advent season begins December 2 with holy communion at 10 45 a m. Mr Haley will drive to Porter for 3 30 p m schoolhouse service. Subscriptions to support the work nearing 100 dollars. November attendance report to be published next week.
