Pair Barely Misses Having Bad Mishap
Arthur C. Roberts of Dupuyer and Mrs. Dave Shannon of Chateau narrowly avoided serious injury when their cars collided at 12 30 p m Thursday. Police Chief Maurice Black said Roberts ran a stop sign and struck Shannon. Roberts’ car hit a tree curb while Shannon’s hit a high curb. Damages were about 950 dollars. Roberts received a right of way violation citation and Justice William Irwin fined him ten dollars.

LDS Church Plans To Sponsor Dances This Summer
The Mutual Improvement Association of the Chateau will sponsor teenage dances each Saturday night from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. for youths 14 and older. Attire: slacks for boys and dresses for girls. blue jeans and pedal pushers barred. No drinking or smoking near dances.
