Drink of Water Blamed for Theft and Mortgage Action
George Garvin a junk dealer was arrested in May by Sheriff J L Collins on charges of stealing tools and gasoline from Julius Anderson a farmer southeast of Dutton. He pleaded guilty before Justice J A Sweat and was given a suspended 30 day jail term conditional on leaving town within two hours. The case also includes a mortgage foreclosure action by Empire Bond and Securities Company against James S Reynolds and Charlotte M Reynolds covering Lots one two three and parts of two sections totaling 218 acres in Township 27 North Range 7 West and 27 North Range 8 West M M with costs and $250 attorney fees.
