Farmers can obtain seed loans from the Department of Agriculture to buy seed wheat oats barley and flax for grain production. The program totals two million dollars with individual loans up to two hundred dollars based on acreage sown and crop type.
Voters in school district number one vote on Saturday April 2 from 2 to 6 pm at the public school house for two seats three year and two year terms with Jus S Innes seeking the two year term and Horace D Upman the three year term. On Monday April 14 polls from 8 am to 6 pm will choose aldernmen. first ward voters vote in the city engineer’s office in the Stockmans Bank Building and second ward at the county treasurer’s office in the courthouse. A Meagher and H D Toman run in the first ward for the council seat. no candidate yet in the second ward though Adams is expected to run.
Last Thursday in Great Falls Hugo Horst and Elizabeth Corson wed. The bride is daughter of Mrs. Schular Corson, born and raised in the county. The groom moved from Iowa years ago and the couple will live on Horst’s ranch near Choteau.
