The Burton Country Clubbers held their fifth meeting at 2 p.m. on March 11, 1961, with Eunice Arensmeyer presiding. Members planned a traveling basket fund raiser. Rae Depner Donna Chalmers and Low Ann Bouma gave talks. Lunch was served by Gladys, Jean and David Chalmers. Next meeting is April 7 at the Bae.
The Collins Boosters 4-H Club met at Collins Hall on Friday evening March 17. Loretta Tomsha reported on a Junior Leadership meeting. Russell Eklund demonstrated Printing by Contact a photography topic. David and Harold Emerson presented How to Make Rice Krispie Bars. Linda Pedersen discussed What I’m Doing In The Yard This Spring. Afterward a St Patrick’s Day party with games and refreshments was held, planned by the boys. Susan Inbody, reporter.
A number of local residents appear in Choteau or visit nearby towns this week. Dr W J Gerizon of Fort Benton testified as a witness in court in Choteau on Tuesday. Patricia Smith teaches piano and Hammond organ from her Choteau residence. Families from Hamilton and Great Falls visit relatives and attend events in the area. Everette Carpenter of Augusta dies at Fort Harrison. funeral held Wednesday. The Woodwards return from a two month southern rotation visiting various relatives and friends. Other social visits include Abbott and Darwin hosts in Conrad and Jarosimek guests of Joe Jarosimek with Van Gorden family connections.
Nimblefingers 4-H Club met on March 18 at the Agawam Club House with 16 members and six parents. Pledges by Lyle Weist, song by Darlene Wie brock, Madagascar fact roll call, and item sharing followed. A party is planned for April 17 at Fairfield Hall 7:30 to 10:30. Junior Leaders to host mixer games with Mrs. Lu Miller possibly assisting. Secretary to pay council dues by April 1 at 25c per member. Planning session for leaders and parents set March 22 at 12:30 at the Episcopal Church Chateau, potluck lunch, bring questions. Geraldine Finn of Bozeman will share ideas. Lunch served by Jimmy and Jerry Larson. Next meeting April 15 at 2, hosted by Alice and Tom Stott.
A weekend gathering in Belt featured Mr and Mrs Woody, Mr Ragar and family visiting relatives and friends, with a meeting planned in Boulder over the weekend.

The Board of County Commissioners of Teton County adjourned after adopting a resolution in compliance with Sec. 28-603 R.C.M. 1947 during its final regular meeting. The action formalizes procedures for county governance and records.
