Public School News From A Division Highlights
Reading activities mark the start of the sixth book for the A division. Lois Hodgskiss becomes first grade president. Second grade forms a Farm Olive health club with six week hygiene buttons for members. Third grade presented numbers, readings, dramatizations, and songs before the lower grade assembly. Visitors included Mrs. Porter and Wm Hodg, with nine pupils performing songs. A puppet show by normal training girls titled The King of the Golden River impressed the sixth grade.
