Girl Scouts Seek Permanent Home in Chateau Town
At a library basement meeting the Girl Scout association decided the high school dormitory is impractical for a club room and discussed plans for a permanent home. About 90 scouts in Chateau need a large safe space for the coming year, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Henrie Beaupre is recovering well after a brief illness.

Pearsons Feted in Fairfield Family Event
A community gathering honored Mr and Mrs Pearson with musical performances and readings. Attendees included Louis Pearson and Carl Vigen performing, Arthur Zimmerman singing, and many relatives from Fairfield Roman Big Fork and Big Fork. The couple, married in 1899 at Dover church, have lived across Wisconsin Illinois Montana and now reside in Fairfield.

British American well confirms pre drilling mapping by seismograph
Findings of the British American well support pre drilling mapping and are likely to lead to further leasing. The area already features holdings of British American General Petroleum Union Oil Phillips Petroleum and others as attention shifts to General Petroleum's deep test on the Bouma farm near Agawam. The test in Teton county progressed to 2,635 feet in the Madison lime.
