State hail insurance board plans lower rates after 1921 losses
The total adjusted loss will be issued within 40 days after the damage occurred. A warrant for the balance will be issued as soon as possible after the close of the season. During 1920 only five cents of each dollar funded operating expenses. Old methods used 30 to 50 cents. The board hopes not to levy maximum rates this season. If 1921 losses are light, a surplus could be set aside and rates reduced.
