The Ladies Guild meets at Great Northern park on Thursday August 6 inviting members to bring a friend. Dr Ed Crary will attend state Dental Association meetings in Great Falls Thursday through Saturday next week with offices closed those days. George E Mushbach a federal game warden from Billings met with Frank Snider in Chateau Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss enforcement of game laws. Snider reports few violations. A big Gopher Day Celebration organized by the Ladies Community Club will be held at Bole on Saturday August 1 with sports prizes for gopher tails and a Montana product dinner, plus a dance and supper at night. Everyone is urged to attend.
The Plowmen's and Threshermen's association calls a meeting for all members at the county agent's office in Chateau on Saturday afternoon August first at 2 o'clock to discuss threshing prices for the current season. Signed Co. O. YOUNCE, Sec.
Richard M. Trescott and Le na Marie Stillman received a marriage license from Clerk B M Jacobson on Monday and were wed by Justice J E DeHaas with W D Wells and QO M Nordhagen as witnesses. The couple will reside in Choteau.
M E Church notes list Sunday worship at 11 30 with delegates leading the Epworth League Institute Sunday school at 10 30 and evening Epworth League at 6 30 at Farmington services at 3 00 P M.
A community event titled Everybody Come invites attendees to a Big Epworth League entertainment and land social with small change for entry. Vendors offer ice cream cake lemonade candy and hot dogs for sale.
