Conrad Banking Company won a default judgment for 550.54 plus attorney fees against Ralph Aiken PL Moran Mary Devine and A M Beasley with further collection allowed from Moran and Beasley. Also notes district court officers installed at Queen Keoekah Judge No 31. A jury convicted Chas Davlin of manslaughter, sentencing him to one year in prison, with transfer to Deer Lodge. The case involved a fatal blow during a free-for-all at a recreation site and conflicting witness accounts.
Farmington budget Rev Luude conducted services in the Farmington school house last Sunday. Mrs Davidson former manager of the Farmington store returned to Great Falls last week. Henry Krupp was here a few days last week. Syvert Syse who has been at Collins for the past few months returned to Farmington last Sunday. He took charge of the store Monday. Mr Odegaard a stone mason from Choteau was a bench visitor Sunday. Nearly all beach residents are adding telephones. Theodore Bollerud was seen riding through the Innes Sunday evening at a swift rate and without a hat.
Jacob Weaver arrives in the city from Quiney Oklahoma to visit his daughter Mrs. Charles A LaBrevhe. An old pioneer of Montana he traveled from Virginia City by river to Fort Benton then by Missouriverse toward Illinois planning to visit his son in Kendall and begin a return to the east via Falls Tribune.
Chicago July 24 cattle receipts 4000 steady with steer prices. Beaves and stockers range with Texans and calves noted. Sheep receipts 18000 market wary with sheep and lambs priced in the 2.90 to 5.50 and 4.75 to 7.0 area respectively.
