Eighth Grade Commencement Set for Tomorrow Evening
Arrangements are complete for the annual eighth grade commencement exercises to be held tomorrow at eight oclock in the high school auditorium in Chateau. County Superintendent Edythe Saylor announced the program prepared for many months. More than one hundred district pupils who completed eighth grade work and are eligible for high school will receive their diplomas. Mrs Saylor hopes for a large attendance of students parents and friends and promises a musical program including instrumental and vocal selections and an address by Carl A Jessen state high school supervisor. Diplomas will be mailed to any who cannot attend.

Sheriff Grabs Three on Bootlegging Charges
Three men tied to bootlegging were arrested by Sheriff Win Dr Reiquam and placed under $750 bonds each. E K Townsend of Blackleaf Lew DeVite of Dry Forks and K B Gohoe of Chateau were held on warrants from the district court based on evidence from the sheriff’s office. They deny guilt and await arraignment before the district court.

Norwegian Group to Hold Meeting at Farmington

Canadian Tourist In 40TC Wreck On Gilman Road
Mrs W W Prady of Exhamton Alverta and four children were inside an overturned auto on Gilman road twelve miles from Chateau Monday. A car driven by Mr F Prady struck a rut, bounced out, struck a rock and turned over. The car was severely damaged but only one child injured a neck. The driver was thrown clear and helped free the family within minutes before help arrived. The car was righted and towed to Chateau. Taguranece on the car was carried by Mr Prady head of Edmonton Dairy Co Alberta and prominent in dairy circles in the Dominion.
