The Peton County High School invites bids to cut hay on its grounds. Bids due by July 20 at 6 p.m. should be left with Mrs Frances M Anderson, clerk of the board. The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

It notes Ralph Luther winning a 1000 yard race near Chateau, mentions the play The Honor of Cowboy at Woodman Hall, and Teddy Hawley buying a team and contracting land work. The Board of County Commissioners of Teton County Montana at Chateau invites sealed proposals for $60,000 of county refunding bonds. Bonds issued at 4.5 percent interest, maturing July 1, 19XX, with semiannual interest, optional prepayment after May 1. Proposals due August 7 with $1,000 certified check.
Special meeting of the Collins Mercantile Company shareholders will be held at the store in Collins Montana on Saturday July 31 1909 at 1 p m to authorize directors to sell and dispose of merchandise and other property excluding books and to transact other business as needed. William Edmonds of Conrad Montana files notice of intention to make final proof to establish a claim to a land described, before Julia W Snields U S Commissioner, at Conrad Montana, on the 9th day of July. The assessment book for 1909 will be open for inspection after July 12 1909. Also public notice from United States Land Office Great Falls Montana dated June 21 1905 regarding Alfred Hanson Fairfield Montana homestead entry and final proof forthcoming August 6 1909 with witnesses named.
