Dutton Lions Help Spraying Campaign For Mosquito Control
Dutton Lions club promoted town spraying with Fox Flying Service of Butte donating a Piper Cub sprayer and pilot. The American Legion offered $25 toward costs, families asked to pay $1 each. Also notes local visits, reunions, tea, engagements, and trips to Glacier and Yellowstone Park.

John G. Billings musical director of Yellowstone Post drum and bugle corps leads a push to strengthen the unit for state competition at Butte in July. The corps grew from 24 to 40 pieces, expanded instruments, added uniforms, and seeks 37 active members with alternates. The group holds $4,400 in gear and uniforms and operates from the Music Box store in Billings.
