Last Rites for Adelbert Moye Held at Shelby
Funeral services for Adelbert Eugene Moye known as Del were held at St Luke’s Lutheran Church in Shelby officiated by Rev Olaf Borge. Moye lived in the Chateau area years ago working for the State Highway Commission and survived by his widow Ranka married in 1937, two daughters, two sons and two grandchildren with siblings as survivors.

At the West Livestock Show, Kaylene Larson earned the Grand Championship for beef steers after winning light and heavy weight divisions through blue ribbon winners Darrell Shoquist Danny Weist Donna Weist and others. Donna Weist and multiple Weist family members collected red ribbons in light and heavy categories. Ernest Weist presented the trophy to Miss Larson as spectators praised the 4-H members for grooming and showing their animals.

Hospital marks ten years of service at Chateau
Sk Xu speaks at open house noting the hospital’s first decade highlights. Since opening, Teton Memorial has served 9,112 inpatients and 3,185 outpatients by June 30, 1961, with 1,241 babies born and 16 nurses married from the hospital. New equipment includes an updated x ray unit and ultrasound, and payroll therapy indicates strong local impact.
