Teachers Back Down on Inheritance and Income Tax Measures
Helena July 1 The State Teachers Association failed to secure enough signers for petitions to initiate a state income tax and an inheritance tax law and has abandoned the campaign. Miss May Trumper state superintendent of public instruction announced the plan’s abandonment on Saturday as a member of the association’s legislative committee.
