Harvest outlook improves with another inch of rain
Teton county farmers expect a bright harvest as rain brings adequate moisture across the region. Chateau reports 1.20 inches for the week with month totals rising. Dutton and Power fared similarly, while hail remains a potential risk. Warm soil, re-seeded winter wheat, and a shift to spring wheat suggest a later, stronger harvest this fall, with September likely the peak cutting month.
