Young’s crew uses blue sandstone from Square Butte for the facade while cream hard brick for interior walls has arrived. Lease and Richards insist on timely completion with Oct 1 move-in target.

Burd of Woodmen Hall has secured the Thompson San Francisco Earthquake and Fire reproduction for Chateau on July 7. The attraction, first shown at Clunie Theatre Sacramento May 2, travels coast to coast then heads East. Each scene includes a dramatic narrative by Prof. Thompson, detailing the earthquake and fire with vivid graphics. Reserved seats are on sale at City Drug Store.
