Stockholders of the Choteau Flying Service announce continuation of crop spraying and charter flights after a Thursday morning fire destroyed the Choteau airport. Four planes and expensive tools were lost. hangar owned by the city and county was insured. Officials plan temporary quarters on a hill site and replacement aircraft to resume operations, with two planes outside the hangar usable. John Nordhagen, a stockholder, arrived from Montgomery Alabama and will remain for now before assignment to a California air force base.

County warns on 1952 driver licenses and weight labels
County Treasurer Loretta Young announced renewal for 1952 driver licenses due by February 15 and required gross vehicle weight labeling on both sides of trucks. Dutton Air Patrol Flies Two Missions To Check Distress
Dutton Civil Air Patrol conducted two two hour flights between Dutton and Fort Benton to locate distressed farmers or ranchers blocked by snow. Although no distress signals were observed, the exercise tested methods for future use in isolating rural residents during heavy snow and blocked roads. Pilots Lt S W Haghind and Lt A M Habel, both from Dutton, led the missions.

Teton county led Montanas drive with a 383.5 per cent of the 356.50 quota, ranking twelfth among 56 counties. Cascade, Valley, Powell, Teton, Toole, Sweet Grass and Carter counties also went over the top.
