Trade Commission Grants Increase for Reliant Mill
The Montana Trade Commission ruled mills with 25 to 100 barrel capacity must raise tolls by ten cents per bushel after findings showed actual production costs exceed current charges. Reliant Mill owner A B Andrews will charge forty cents per bushel for custom grinding and return 38 pounds flour and 17 pounds milk feed per 60 pounds of wheat. The decision aims to cover operating expenses while preserving the mill as a local industry.
