The Teton County Shipping Association shows a $600 cash balance as of January 1 1926, four months after starting September 1 1925. It began with no cash and five members and now has 256. Directors H J Moon and J E Hodgkiss were elected for three years, with audit committee appointed and plans for a third turkey shipment and a spring egg marketing initiative in 1926.

Death Calls Teton’s First County Attorney
James Sulgrove 64 longtime Montana attorney died at his home January 2 after illness. He served as Teton county’s first attorney, practiced since 1892, ran for judge in 1924, and helped found Teton County High School and local libraries. Survived by wife Christina and six children.

Funeral of Mr Sulgrove Held by Cataract Lodge in Great Falls
The Cataract Lodge No. 18 held a hall service and grave service for Mr. Sulgrove with Rev. Robert B. Culbertson reading the obituary and Bible passages. A quartet performed four of his favorite hymns under the direction of J. E. Hodgskins A. B. Guthrie and W. G. Bloomdahl. About 150 pallbearers accompanied the procession to Chateau cemetery, where burial occurred. Pallbearers included Julius Hirshberg Tom Olson Wm Hodgskiss Dr C J B Stephens Ole Kregness and A C Burbank. Dr E J Crary directed the service.

Woman's Club New Year Dance Draws Large Crowd
More than 250 people attended the Woman's Club New Year Eve dance at the Knights of Pythias hall last Thursday. The Chateau orchestra kept the crowd lively until 2:30 Friday morning and an excellent midnight lunch was served by the club. Receipts from the dance and lunch totaled over $150, according to committee members.
