Letters From Janet Otness In New Zealand I
The excerpts show Janet Otness writing home from New Zealand during a foreign exchange program. She describes the DC-8 flight with Honolulu refueling, time zone changes, Auckland to Hamilton travel, Tauranga visits, sub tropical North Island scenery, dairy farm life, and excitement about meeting new friends while noting cultural differences. The second letter criticizes the Constitutional Convention meeting for long hours and perceived graft, urging legal limits and recommending reading The Tree of Liberty and Out of the Night.
