Old Timers Reunion Draws 100 Despite Cold
Governor J. E. Erickson led the Oldest Settlers reunion in Teton at the Masonic temple with more than 100 attendees and 98 banquet served. Out of town guests included E. D. Forrest Virgelle Ernest Savory Dupuyer J. M. Frazier Great Falls and Mrs Harry Belcher Great Falls. The evening featured dancing to Austad’s orchestra and includes remarks by Governor Erickson and a burlesque reading by Mrs Gorham.

Conrad Dominate Teton In Two Tuesday Games
Teton high lost both games to Conrad high school teams, 46 to 18 in the boys contest and 32 to 19 in the girls. Conrad outpaced Teton with stronger offense and defense, despite several substitutions by coach E L Kleffman. Ralph Bleecker opened scoring for Teton as the game mounted, but Conrad pulled away early and maintained the lead throughout.

City rink ice draws crowds for skating fun
The cold spell has left the city rink with excellent ice and many adults and children are enjoying skating sessions.
Legion pavilion upgrade nears completion in city park
The American Legion pavilion in the city park nears completion after enclosing a northwest room 22 by 26 feet to serve as headquarters and a meeting space for Legion, Boy Scouts and Auxiliary. Gas work, a Reznor heater offer, and custom furniture are in place with total cost about 185 dollars plus labor.

Red Cross January Work Report from Teton Chapter
In January the Teton Red Cross aided 25 families and 42 children. The chapter logged 28 office calls, 14 home visits, 11 phone calls, 144 used garments sent, 32 pairs of shoes, and three layettes with 73 cents spent. Knitting and sewing were done by local volunteers. Donors included Jos Hirshberg & Co and Mrs. J. R. Young.

Two annual meetings of the Sun River and Deep Creek livestock associations were held at the Lewis and Clark national forest office in Chateau. Supervisor W B Wiley attended along with forest service staff. Officers elected include James Peebles as president and Vincent Ward as secretary treasurer. salt allocations and levies were debated and a one cent per head assessment approved for Deep Creek operations.

Corson Arrested in Burglary Case at Great Falls
George Corson wanted for the Chateau Hardware burglary on August 22 and assault on city marshal A H McGinnis was arrested Monday in Great Falls at the Star cigar store. He was tracked by Undersheriff Billings after a meals stop at Floweree ranch and sightings near Lowry. Corson to be arraigned February 11 before Judge Hattersley on first degree burglary charges.
