Elevator accident injures Collins manager at Cargill depot
Henry Tomsha, manager at the Cargill elevator in Collins, was injured when a malfunctioning dump hoist descended on his right forearm, breaking both bones. He was taken to St Mary’s hospital in Conrad, where he is recovering with pain and idle days ahead. Ralph Coleman transported him from the depot.

The Birthday Club held a gathering at Mrs. Everett Weist's home Saturday afternoon. Our H. D. club met on Thursday and West club scheduled a Cab 18 fundraiser at the club house for the Red Cross. Miss Schroeder to attend February meeting. Pfe. Ray Robinson left the 4th for Grenada Mississippi for a stay.
