Commissioners Proceedings 1960 Regular Session Details
The county board met in regular session through December and January with members Peebles Edwards and Lee. They discussed weed board budgets and new spraying equipment, opened bids for a suburban sedan, and arranged road and canal project considerations. Juror fees and county payroll were approved, and monies moved from the debt reduction to the general fund while imposing a two dollar poll tax for residents aged 21 to 60.
