Senator T. O. Larson and Jas. Eckford attended a joint international convention of the Y G Bee Line and Alberta Montana Highways associations in Great Falls. Larson was toastmaster at a banquet and Eckford named county director for Teton county. Delegates numbered about 75 with talks by officials on the Yellowstone Glacier route and 1929 completion plans for the Bynum Dupuyer section.

Scouts Get Real Outing Overnight Near Twin Lakes
Choteau Boy Scouts on a Sunday trip suffered a truck breakdown near Twin Lakes on the Teton and spent the night out in a storm. Led by Spud Moore the group camped with a tent and bedding, all returning to Choteau the next day after Harry Adams found them en route to the canyon. They then cooked breakfast at the lodge before hiking back.

Very Heavy August Rainfall Sets County Record
Heavy rainfall began last Thursday and continued to Tuesday, making August the wettest on record since 1921 except for last year. Total for August stands at 2.22 inches versus 2.68 inches last year, with a chance still for a higher figure. Rain may delay harvest by about a week and fears of wheat lodging were largely unfounded.
