Fire Danger Declines In Teton District
Cold wet weather reduced fire danger in the Teton District of Lewis and Clark National Forest beginning Tuesday night. One fire has been reported by Forest Service employee Bob Chapman during a hike to Hidden Lake. The small blaze scorched a shoreline area near the lake and serves as a reminder to fully extinguish campfires before departure. State law requires a shovel axe and bucket on all forest vehicles.
