Choteau High Musicians Excel At Great Falls Meet
Choteau High School musicians earned seven superior and thirteen excellent ratings at the district festival in Great Falls. Five vocal groups received superior scores, with the sixth, Boys Choir, at excellent. Notable solos and duets also posted superior ratings, and the Modern Choir and Concert Choir were honored as representatives for class B and C schools in the final concert. Twenty three Choteau students will compete at the state meet in Great Falls May 4 and 5.

The Montana State Democratic Women's Club regional conference will be held Tuesday April 25 at the Lions Club hall in Dutton starting at 9 30 am. Counties Pondera Toole Glacier and Teton are represented with a panel on club activities and a workshop on party organization. Legion to Build New Grandstand at Chateau Rodeo Grounds
Lyle Otness, chairman of the American Legion rodeo committee, says a 130 foot long grandstand with a permanent roof will replace the old canvas structure at the Chateau rodeo grounds. The one day July 4 event will be RCA rodeo for the third year, produced by Reg Kesler of Rosemary, Alberta, who will bring stock from the national finals. Ray Yeager of Chateau and MSU student plans to compete in the collegiate rodeo.

Choteau Track Team Takes Third At Fairfield Meet
Choteau High School placed third in the Fairfield Times track meet held in Fairfield last Saturday.
