Farmers Urged to Complete 1950 Census Forms
The Chateau Bureau of the Census urges every farmer to fill the 1950 census of agriculture form received by mail and have it ready for the enumerator. The census runs with population housing irrigation and draining data to map farm operations and production for nationwide food distribution. Current personnel notes include Roland K. Fisher finishing the monthly population survey amid enumerator shortages, with district supervisor Walter H. Marshall and crew leaders Howard Heman and Gay Reider active in field work. Mrs. Irene Dauwalder and Mrs. Marion Jarussi join the Choteau and Fairfield offices as editing and tabulating clerks helping compile figures.
