Dairying Builds Profit on Montana Farm Says Wilcomb
Twin Bridges April 3 That the dairying business is a paying proposition is shown by George Wilcomb of Pagevilla who now keeps about twenty cows. In March he shipped 250 gallons of cream to a Butte confectionery and received around 225 dollars, about 11.25 dollars per cow. Two years ago he disliked cows, preferring condensed milk in his tea. Now he earns more from cows than other ranch activities and dairying is among the most profitable farm branches in Montana. Many other farmers are finding money in dairy.
