In Chateau on Monday about half of registered voters cast ballots. In the First Ward mayoral race J. C. Morgani led, with Wm Hodgskiss and R. M. Farrington also listed. Aldermen races showed A J Flynn and W Gorham leading in the First Ward and J G Jackson in the Second Ward. Mayor elect Morgani, now an alderman, will resign to qualify as mayor and the council will appoint a new alderman from the First Ward.

Everyboy High School Play Delights Chateau Audience
The March 29 performance of Everyboy at the Chateau high school auditorium drew a packed house. Miss Theresa Moore wrote and directed the patriotic tale with a large cast of pupils and many observers praised the music, dances, and staging.
