Three Hansen Brothers Die in Montana Shooting
Three men, Jake Hansen 42 John Hansen 44 and Fred Frick, were found dead or dying after a Monday shooting at the Lewis Daggett place 12 miles northwest of Pendroy Montana. Coroner’s inquest planned with details to emerge. Frick survived briefly before dying.

The city election is set for next Monday with the Citizens ticket leading. George Coffey heads the ticket for mayor, L. E. Taylor seeks alderman in the second ward, and R. R. Mellon for alderman in the first ward. Polls open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the city fire hall and the courthouse.

G. G. Moore of the Associated Seed Growers reports about 1500 acres of seed peas contracted in Teton county, similar to last year. Larger blocks exist in the Bynum Agawam Farmington area with about 900 acres and Fairfield district with about 600 acres. Varieties planned are Alaskas and Perfections. Most growers not yet accommodated awaiting further instructions before new contracts.

March Blizzard Bales Chateau in Montana Fifty-Year-Old Snowfall
A fierce blizzard raged through Choteau and surrounding Montana towns Saturday night, halting travel and plunging areas into darkness. Communication failing, power lines were damaged between Great Falls and Vaughn, with Choteau restored by midnight. Livestock losses were minimal but seven sheep died west of town.
