The City of Chippewa Falls held a special meeting called by the Mayor at 7 p m on March 26. Present were the Mayor and aldermen Rappius Buchholtz Norway Leinenkugel and Goethle. Alderman Felix was absent. The agenda included passing ordinances on public peace and licenses and other business. The council adopted two ordinances: offences affecting public peace and licenses, with all voting aye except none opposed. Committees were named: Health Goethle and Buchholtz. Schools Norway and Goethle. Claims Rappius and Buchholtz. Streets and alleys Felix and Leinenkugel. The Street Commissioner was instructed to install sturdy railings on both sides of all bridges over Duncan Creek. Adopted unanimously. City Clerk Jxo. F. Haut records the action.
