Chipsey High School plans to open for the 1912 13 term on Monday September 20 amid expectations of large enrollment and a successful year. The board had chosen Prof J Leakie Dickson of Tennessee as principal but a recent law requires eight months of state teaching experience, leaving the school without a principal at opening time.
