A pretty wedding took place Wednesday afternoon at the bride's father's home. Miss Mary Horne and Mr. Paul Carter exchanged vows before a large crowd of friends. Horne is noted as Chipley\u2019s charming young lady and Carter is a prominent Marianna attorney.
Miss Blanche Williams and Mr Carey Horne were married Sunday at the Williams home on south Sixth street with Rev. McNeil officiating. The small ceremony, attended by immediate family, followed a date change to avoid a shower of rice, and a rice reception awaited the couple at the depot as they left for New Orleans.

Cox and wife, traveling from Panama City to Quincy, paused to see J. R. McGeachy.
